Planning Our Jodhpur 3 Days Trip Itinerary

Whether it comes to heritage or culture or even the great cuisines of Rajasthan, Jodhpur has it all. From the Mehrangarh Fort to the Umaid Bhawan Palace, there is a lot more to see in the city of Jodhpur. There are places like Mandore Garden which has its mention even in Ramayana. The Mandore Garden has temples that house 33 crores of Gods and Goddesses. The Mahamandir Temple standing upon 84 pillars attracts art and craft lovers because of its unique designs. The Machia Biological Park houses a number of species including Lion, Tiger, Bear, Crocodile, Ostrich and much more.

That is why it becomes very crucial to plan our Jodhpur trip Itinerary in a systematic way so that we can cover everything in just 3 days. As we have only three days in hand so we will segregate places and activities for day 1, 2 and 3.

3 Days Jodhpur Itinerary

Day 1 in Jodhpur

Places to Visit in Day 1 in Jodhpur
  • Mehrangarh Fort
  • Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park
  • Ghanta Ghar

You can just take a shared taxi to reach the Mehrangarh Fort from your location and the other two destinations are not very far from it. You can even walk to the others but if you don’t want to walk, you can use a shared taxi for those as well.

Day 2

On the 2nd day, we are covering 4 destinations which cover a distance of 14 km at a minimum. Renting a Bike for the 2nd day would be a better idea to save you time and money.

Day 3

On the third day, you need to travel at least 10 km to cover all three locations. Although Machia Biological Park and Kayalana Lake are nearby, Toorji ka Jhalra is a little distant. You may rent a bike because a cab may cost you more if you are travelling alone or two. But, if you are more than 2 people, you can just hire a taxi or rent a cab whichever suits you the best.
