Hence, although renting a bike is an easy way out but it does have its own issues. Therefore, I would suggest you to bring your own bike to make your trip memorable.

Using your own bike will not only make your bike trip hassle free but also cost saving. You just have to pay for the fuel and that’s it. You may carry your Bike to Delhi by train and then start your bike trip from there. There are biker groups in almost every major city who do trips directly from their towns.

    • Your first aid kit should include, bandage, Dettol, cotton, ointment, cold balm, pain relief ointment. Few medicines for headache, fever, cold, stomach ache, diarrhoea, vomiting, mountain sickness. Also keep medicine for something that you are allergic to.
  5. Sunscreen: You like it or not, you have to keep it. High altitude areas receive more direct sunlight so your skin dries faster and gets tanned easily. So apply sunscreen frequently.
  6. Sunglass: It is another must have accessory. To protect your eyes from the direct and scorching sunlight you have to wear it during the daytime.
  7. Oxygen Cylinder: 600ml oxygen cylinder is easy to carry and good enough for your trip.
  8. Thermal inner for upper and lower body.
  9. Good quality Wind Cheater.
  10. Knee length socks
  11. Good quality boots. Avoid casual shoes/sneakers or sport shoes.
