In 1828 the fort was mostly destroyed due to a huge mysterious fire, whose source was never known. It is believed that Narayan Rao’s ghost still lurks in the palace and it becomes active on full moon nights.

It is a step well located in Delhi, the capital of India. It was held as a water temple in Ancient India. There are 103 steps built out of sandstone. It is believed to be built by King Agrasen during the Mahabharata times.
